What is NETS?
NETS is a software application that allows Ford dealers to re-program the ECM/IDM used on International engines in the F650/750 and LCF.

Where do I find the chassis number?
The chassis number is the last 8 digits of the VIN.

How do I enter or update my dealer code?
From the NETS main menu click the "SETTINGS" button at the top of the page. Enter your P&A code in the field labeled "DEALER NUMBER". There is no need to fill in the "LOCATION CODE".

How do I configure a communications cable to work with NETS?
From the NETS main menu click the "SETTINGS" button at the top of the page. Select either the NAV-Link or IC4COM from the "Cable Selection" and "Save" the choice.

Can the diagnostic tester be turned off between steps of the NETS process?
Yes. The GET and PROGRAM files are stored on the diagnostic tester.

What is my User Name and Password that is used during the SEND and RECEIVE functions?
The Ford Technical Service Hotline will issue your User Name and initial password. You can change your password through the "Change Password" selection on the "Settings" page inside of NETS. If you forget your password you will need to contact the Hotline to have it reset. Please contact the Ford Technical Hotline at 1-800-826-4694, select option #1 (Technical Information Support) for your User Id and password or to have your password reset.
