MD Truck Software Download

Selecting the links below will download the MD Truck diagnostics used for the F650/750 and LCF Medium Duty trucks.

NOTE: Software drivers are not included in the IDS software installation. Be sure to install all software provided in the order listed below.

NOTE: IDS Software and ServiceMaxx Software requires users to purchase a software license subscription. Dealers can purchase both licenses by going to the PTS website > Rotunda > Diagnostic Tool Support > IDS Licensing Support > IDS Software Licensing.

Step 1 - Install IDS Software

Step 2 - Driver Install

Current NAV-Link: 1.5.150

MUST UPGRADE TO: Driver: 1.6.17 / Firmware: 2.4.2.0.0

Re-Installs

Download the latest NAV Link driver and firmware - Follow the "Upgrading Nav-Link Driver and Firmware Installation" instructions for details.

NEW Nav-Link

If this is a New Nav-Link, use DVD provided. DO NOT UPGRADE.

ATTENTION: IC3/IC4 Users (Optional drivers for XP Operating Systems ONLY)

The IC3COM cable is obsolete. However, the IC3COM and IC4COM drivers have limited functionality. These drivers can be downloaded separately here:

Upgrading Nav-Link Driver:

Uninstall current driver (assure all shortcuts removed)

On the desktop, click "Start"

From the Start menu, navigate to the "Control Panel"

Windows 7 users - click "Programs and Features"/ Windows XP users - click "Add or Remove Programs"

Navigate to "Puma", right click and uninstall the driver

Download the Puma Installer 1.6.17

Firmware Installation:

On the desktop, click "Start"

Click “All Programs” –> Movimento-> Puma -> Movimento Hardware Configuaration

Connect NAV-Link hardware to your PC

Select and click "Puma 2"

Verify Firmware is the correct version 2.4.2.0.0

Click on the box “Use Built-in Firmware”

Click "Upgrade"

Click YES on the "Firmware Upgraded" confirmation pop-up box.

Step 3 - ServiceMaxx

ServiceMaxx Software

ServiceMaxx provides engine diagnostic capabilities for the International 6.0L and 4.5L.

The ServiceMaxx software is launched through the International's website. It requires the Java Runtime Environment software from Orcale, also accessible from International's website.

Step 4 - Gateway Service Tool

Gateway Service Tool

Gateway Service Tool provides diagnostics and as-built configuration for the Gateway module used in the F650/F750. It is also used to retrieve as-built data for the instrument cluster, radio, and HVAC modules in the F650/F750.

The GWST is now a standalone program that does not require a username and password. However, it may require the latest version of Oracle’s Java Runtime Environment (JRE) which can be found on the downloads page for Java. Once installed, please reboot the computer and run the GWST setup. The link for the JRE is shown below.

Step 5 - NETS (5.3.4)

NETS (5.3.4)

NETS provides engine module reprogramming capabilities for the International 6.0L and 4.5L engines.

NOTE: Due to windows restrictions you must "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" when using operating systems WINDOWS 7 & up.

Step 6 - WABCO (10.0)

WABCO (10.0)

Wabco provides diagnostics for the Wabco hydraulic ABS system used in the F650/750.

While installing the WABCO brake application, you will encounter two error messages that say "Windows Logo testing cannot verify the compatibility with Windows XP". It is safe to click the "Continue Anyway" button on these messages.
