Vehicle Communication Module (VCM)

The Vehicle Communication Module (VCM) is required to communicate with the vehicle's on-board computers. Communication access allows reading and clearing fault codes stored in vehicle electronic modules, viewing of real-time parameters of the vehicle systems and the ability to configure or re-program electronic modules (flash calibrations) to support quicker service fixes.

Vehicle Measurement Module (VMM)

The Vehicle Measurement Module (VMM) is the newest addition to the modular diagnostic family. The VMM is a

high-performance vehicle instrumentation module used to perform electronic and transducer based measurements. A VMM functionality includes: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (PVT) based fuel system tests, ignition system tests, charging system tests, Digital Multi-Meter (DMM), Oscilloscope, and probe pinpoint tests.
